Lucas Oil Team Open 2012 Tournament Shows
We've had many people asking when the Lucas Oil Team Open 2012 tournament shows would be broadcast on Fox Sports AZ. There will be two shows, one for each day of the tournament. They will be broadcast on Fox Sports AZ on May 6th and May 13th, respectively. Please check your local listings for time of broadcast. Thanks for everyone's interest and support!
Johnny Does It Again!
Johnny Johnson and Reese Simpson managed to best the field by almost 5 pounds when they brought their five fish to the scales weighing in at 14.44 pounds to win the first WMBC Team tournament of 2012 at Rainbow Lake April 29th, 2012. Johnny and Reese also brought in the Big fish at 3.90 pounds and the 2nd Big Fish at 3.62 pounds. Both largemouth bass. Congats guys!
Congrats to Johnny on his first tournament win of the year April 22nd, 2012 at Rainbow Lake, AZ. Johnny was forced to fish without his partner Kenny Johnson in the WMBC Family Circuit but still managed to pull off a win with 8.61 pounds. Johnny also brought in the Big Fish of the tournament with a 2.41 pound largemouth.

A competition bass angler for over 20 years, Johnny is one of the few anglers with their own weekly televised fishing show on Fox Sports AZ; “Fishing with Johnny Johnson”. The show has been on the air since 1997 and has a large following of an average of 4million viewers each week. His unique approach to fishing has made him a favorite among local fisherman throughout Arizona and into New Mexico, Nevada and Texas. Fishing with Johnny Johnson Presents: Fall & Winter Techniques On Roosevelt Lake
This instructional video, hosted by television host Johnny Johnson will help narrow down your search for those often elusive Fall and Winter bass on Roosevelt Lake. Johnny explains the changes in bass behavior during the seasonal transition from Fall to Winter and even shares some of his favorite fishing spots on one of Arizona's most beloved fisheries. Techniques include the buzzbait, utilizing your graph to find and catch fish on a drop-shot rig, darterhead and Westy Worm, utilizing structure with a crankbait, spinnerbaits and the spoon.

Congatulations to Johnny on a 7th place finish in the FLW Western Series at Roosevelt lake September 2010. Johnny managed to bring this lunker weighing in at 6 pounds for the Big Fish of the tournament.
Johnny Johnson and Reese Simpson took home 1st place in the White Mountain Bass Club's Championship Tournament and also secured Team of the Year for 2010. Reese brought in a 16.19 pound Northern Pike to win the 'Goon fish' award.
